The psychology behind sounds…
How important is sound in our lives, can you identify sonic branding or a sound logo? For example, before a film starts there is often a sound logo, a type of audible branding for the audience to recognize. For fun I wanted to share a clip from an American TV show which began in the 1950's then lost popularity and ran again in the late 70's. It never got very popular but it was impressionable, seeing regular people's knowledge of sounds from the past and present. The show puts two people against one another to name popular or historic songs/tunes in the least amount of musical notes possible. When you have time, watch for a few minutes to see how they received clues and then each contestant had to wager how few notes they could identify a song in. Has Spain had a similar program you can share?
